
The Minister of Infrastructure Development of Karnataka MB Patil Patil launched several development projects on Saturday in action organized in the district of Vijayapura.
It included a ceremony for the construction of a percolation tank at a smaller department of irrigation and development of groundwater at the price of 2.50 Crore in Malakanadevavahatti near Tikota Taluk. It covers an area of 4.73 km2 and has a bundle of 240 meters or 787 feet. It has a total storage capacity of 2.33 MCFT up to 29 feet. This will provide an irrigation device for 136 acres of soil and the groundwater in open holes and wells will also increase.
The Minister said the water would be released into this water unit twice a year.
He called on farmers not to sell their countries. He urged them to capture gardening, plantation and commercial crops of various types. “Plans are preparing to make good use of water assigned to the Tabachi-Babaleshwar lift. At least one TMCft of water will be stored in the ponds,” he said.
He started working on two percolation tanks in the village of Baba Nagar, inaugurated the Maratha Community Hall, the new building of the Karnataka public school, building a project of national livelihood and opened some road work in the district.
