Chief Minister Siddaramaiah appointed Minister of Income Krišna Byre Gowda for the Minister responsible for the Hassan district and replaced the Minister for cooperation with KN Rajanna.
Mr. Byre Gowda, who won from the election district of the Assembly in Bengalur in Bengalur, will participate in the Dependence Day program in Hassan on August 15 and raise the national flag, he said communication from the State Secretariat.
Mr. Rajanna, who is from the Madhugiri constituency in the Tumacur district, was appointed Minister responsible for the Hassan district earlier. In recent months, however, has barely visited the district and rarely organized meetings with district officials.
