The former MLA Rajkumar Patil Telkur demanded the probe of the Central Investigation Office (CBI) to the alleged corruption in the allocation of houses within Rajiv Gandhi Housing Corporation in Aland Taluk from the Kalaburagi district.
Mr. Telkur, who addressed a press conference on Tuesday, insisted that the Minister of Housing and Minority Care of BZ Zmeer Ahmed Khan assumes moral responsibility for uncontrollable corruption in the housing system and resigned to the cabinet or chief Minister Siddaramaiaha, which should immediately suspend it.
He said that the two-year rule of the government led by the Congress in the State is characterized by a number of fraud and corruption, including inconsistencies in Maharshi Valmiki ST and Muda, a deviation of financial resources intended for Dalite treatment of Dalit’s good plan and Sub-Plan (SCP/TSP).
“The government led by Congress is facing serious accusations of corruption by its own legislators. We appreciate Mr. Patil for revealing corruption in the housing and Mla Raja Kage, who supported the accusation of Mr. Patil,” he said.
“Corruption begins when the houses are allocated when the staff arrives to capture the GPS image of the assigned house. President Gram Panchayat, Panchayat (PDOS), MLA of the relevant taluks and minister of housing are involved in this corruption,” Mr. Telkur said.
Mr. Telkur demanded that the state government cancel the list of assignments and again assign houses to real recipients by organizing Gram Sabha meetings.
“Political stuntman”
Another leader BJP Harshanand Guttedar, who is former vice president of Zilla Panchayat and belongs to Aland Taluk, deals with a press conference, he said that the accused MLA BR belonged to the assignment of the house reveals corruption of the congress government. It is not that he is concerned about people, but (he is) a political stuntman to get the number of mileage, said Mr. Guttedar.
“It is the style of Police Policy Patil. It is his way to express his disappointment when he was not put into the state cabinet.
The houses were assigned to recipients in December 2024, said Mr. Guttedar, adding that the alleged corruption occurred under the nose of Mr. Patil and asked why he had only now exposed it to Mr. Patil.
