Minister of Housing and Information and Public Relations Kolus Partharathy checked Mandal Mandal in Elur in Musunur Mandal on Friday to evaluate its suitability for allocating places for the poor.
Minister, accompanied by officials and leaders of the Alliance, accompanied officials and alliances, ordered the authorities to immediately complete the soil survey and equalization in order to immediately distribute land with housing.
During the inspection, the Minister asked about the local Tahsildar K. Venko Raman about the number of land that could be assigned from a six acro place. Tahsildar replied that approximately 60 House Pattas locations can potentially be released.
The Minister stressed that the land must only be distributed to truly eligible and economically weaker parts. He ordered officials to ensure that the process of development of the location, including soil check -in and the preparation of layout, is accelerated to facilitate early distribution.
