Minister of Health C. Damodar Raja Narasimha on Monday morning rushed to the point of explosion of the pharmaceutical unit in the Pashamylaram in the Sangareddy district.
In an interview with the media at the scene of the accident, the Minister said the cause of the explosion is still being investigated. “The three -storey building collapsed during the explosion, and the exact cause of the explosion is still the subject of an investigation. It is our government’s responsibility to protect and support the families of each worker. We do not have to politicize such accidents.
After visiting the place, the Minister of Hospital Dhruva visited Patacher and Pranpital in Madinaguda, where several injured workers are treated. He assured that the state government would bear full cost of medical treatment for all injured in the incident.
In both hospitals, the Minister interact with doctors and reviewed the condition of patients. He ordered district doctors and medical officers (DMHO) and other heads of medical officials to stay in hospitals and ensure uninterrupted medical attention until all patients were stabilized.
The Minister of Labor and Dr. G. Vivek Venkataswamy and later met injured workers. He assured their families to fully support the government and ordered officials to take strict steps to prevent such industrial accidents in the future. The Minister was also looking for a detailed report from the Sigachi Industries management management on the sequence of events that led to a fatal explosion.
