
Minister of Health Satya Kumar Yadav launched a number of initiatives to strengthen rural development in the Chittoor district on Monday. The initiatives focused on sectors such as healthcare, hygiene and strengthening the position of women. These projects would be carried out as part of the CSR initiative initiative of Hindustan Coca-Cola (HCCB) drinks.
The Minister spoke in the position of the Palasamudram headquarters in the Constituration Gangadhara Nellore assembly in the Chittoor district. The Minister repeated the priorities of the government for the provision of available health care and ceremonially launched improved facilities in five primary health centers (PHC) equipped with modern infrastructure of surgical and emergency treatment. He also formally launched new hygienic units at PHCS and government schools.
The Minister emphasized the importance of developing modified women, distributed sewing machines to their helpful groups (SHG), and called for an extended campaign that involved them in the digital, financial and hygienic literacy for rural women.
Mr. Yadav also emphasized the need for units of clean drinking water and solar lighting equipment in distant parts of rural areas. “These CSR initiatives at the village level really reflect a commitment to inclusive and sustainable development,” Yadav said.
Minister Yadav added that the state government was determined to support initiatives for building a strong community partnership and a holistic transformation of rural infrastructure.
