Minister of Agriculture P. Praad suggested that the growing threat of wild Kares can be effectively solved if people are allowed to consume their meat.
Mr. Prasad recently, when he spoke in office in Palamel in Alappuzha, he said that the current law prohibits the consumption of a wild cabin meat.
“In my opinion, people should be allowed to consume the meat of wild stones killed in agricultural fields. Providing such permission could help solve this problem much faster. However, the current law does not allow this,” the Minister said.
He said a wild boar is not an endangered species.
