Minister of Agriculture Andhra Pradesh K. Atchannaid on Thursday organized teleconference with district collectors on the availability, delivery and distribution of urea throughout the state and ordered them to ensure strict monitoring and rapid problems.
Collectors from Krishna, NTR, Srikakulam, Bapatla, Vizianagaram, Kadapa, Eluru and Sri Satya Sai district.
Mr. Atchannaida stressed that official records and shares at the base level had to be equal without irregularities. He asked the collectors to submit reports of the availability of the district urea and deal with questions, especially in the districts of Krishna, Bapatla and Kadapa.
He ordered that supplies from excess areas be diverted to deficit regions, while transport costs transmitted by the government. He assured the farmers that the center had already assigned 9.5 Lakh MT fertilizers for the Rabi season.
The Minister also called for coordination with the port and railway authorities to ensure the early arrival of 53,000 MT urea from Gangavaram and Kakinada ports.
In order to face misinformation in the media and social platforms, Mr. Atchannaida ordered collectors to issue daily updates to stock positions.
He appreciated the “Dial Your Collector” initiative launched in the NTR district and called for a special effort to solve the problems facing Gromor. He proposed to establish reserved rural counters to ensure timely fertilizer distribution.
Collectors were asked to create teams at the level of the Labor level, secured smooth supplies for another 10 days, and, if necessary, accepted a token -based system. The WhatsApp Group was also created for real -time monitoring by higher agricultural and vigilation officials.
