
Andhra Pradesh MA&UD Minister P. Narayana at Transworld Group office in Dubai on Tuesday.
On the second day of his Dubai tour on Tuesday, Andhra Pradesh Minister for Urban Administration and Urban Development P. Narayana held a series of high-level meetings with business leaders to attract investment to the state. He invited prominent Dubai companies to attend the upcoming Visakhapatnam Partnership Summit and explore opportunities in sectors such as infrastructure, logistics, healthcare and refrigeration systems.
According to a statement from his office, Dr. Narayana met Mr. Nilesh Ved, Chairman of the Apparel Group, which operates 2,300 stores in 14 countries and represents more than 25 global brands, including Skechers and Tommy Hilfiger. He secured full government support for the group’s expansion into Andhra Pradesh.
Later, the Minister met Mr. Ramesh Ramakrishnan, Chairman, Transworld Group to discuss the development and logistics infrastructure managed by ports. He informed the Speaker about Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s initiatives to make Andhra Pradesh a logistics hub with modern ports, airports and shipbuilding facilities.
At Tabreed’s headquarters in Downtown Dubai, Dr. Narayana interviews CEO Khalid Al Marzooqi, CDO Philippe Coquell and other senior executives. Tabreed, a global leader in district cooling, has been invited to set up a similar cooling infrastructure in Amaravati and other cities in Andhra Pradesh.
The minister was accompanied by CRDA Commissioner K. Kannababu, Municipal Director Sampath Kumar and former others.
