The local government department (LSGD) transferred Minister Munnar Gram Panchayat GP Udayakumar, referring to violation of the rule in receiving the resigning letter of former President Munnar Panchayat Deep Rajkumar.
The order issued by the main director of LSGD S. Chithra states that the State Election Commission ordered to immediately transfer the Secretary Panchayat and present it to him.
Mr. Udayakumar was transferred to the Gram Panchayat in Kozhikode. According to officials, there was a serious violation of the rules in adopting a resigning letter of President Panchayat and in further proceedings.
Mrs. Rajkumarová originally submitted her resignation of Minister Panchayat 29 February. Within two hours she submitted a second letter and claimed that her resignation was under pressure and that the signature in an earlier letter was created by congress workers. Minister Panchayat handed over both letters to the State Election Commission. Later, the Commission called President Panchayat and Secretary for hearing and allowed the President to continue his office, albeit temporarily.
