Minister Komatireddy inaugurates ₹185 crore infrastructure works in Parigi

Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu after laying the foundation stone for the construction and strengthening of roads in Parigi on Saturday.

Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Saturday said the state government is committed to transform Telangana into a “slum-free state” by providing permanent housing assistance to every eligible poor family.

Along with IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu, he laid the foundation stone for ₹ 185.15 crore road construction and strengthening in Parigi Assembly constituency.

In a public meeting at Parigi, Mr. Venkat Reddy said that ₹ 900 crore has been sanctioned for road construction in Vikarabad district.

He also highlighted the welfare measures of the state government, including the issuance of ration cards, distribution of fine rice and subsidized LPG cylinders.

Mr. Komatireddy said the government had addressed youth unemployment by conducting Group I, Group II and other recruitment examinations, resulting in job opportunities for 67,773 candidates. He also assured that the work on the Lakshmidevipalli project would be expedited and completed as soon as possible.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sridhar Babu said that efforts will be made to create industries in the Parigi region to generate employment for the local youth.

Parigi MLA T. Ram Mohan Reddy urged the government to encourage industrial investment in the constituency and sought financial support to widen key two-lane roads to four-lane roads.

Legislative Council Chief Whip Patnam Mahender Reddy, Chevella MLA Kale Yadaiah, District Collector Deepak Tiwari, Additional Collector (Local Bodies) Umashankar Prasad, Additional Collector (Revenue) E. Venkatachari and other officials were present.
