Minister inspects equipment at Cuddalore bus station

Housing and Urban Development Minister B. Rajkumar on Tuesday inspected the infrastructure facilities at the Anna Bus Terminus in Cuddalore.

Accompanied by Collector Sibi Adhithya Senthil Kumar, the Minister inspected the entry and exit gates, various passenger amenities including public toilets, drinking water facilities, bus bays and a business complex on the premises.

Mr. Rajkumar directed officials to identify encroachments and unused spaces to facilitate free movement of mofussils and local buses. He also reviewed pay toilets and said that only government-mandated rates should be collected from commuters.

He also directed officials to initiate flood mitigation measures at the bus terminus and complete the work before the onset of monsoon.
