In the Cuddalore district, a special work started to evoke with the Minister for Agriculture and the farmer MRK Panneerselvam started exercising on Sunday.
The Minister said that 207 works sanctioned to the estimate of the CRORE 16 GBP will be carried out to remove the mud accumulation for about 675 km of water courses. Flowing work would cover vulnerable sections in areas susceptible to floods in the Cuddalore district, he said.
The collector of Sibi Adhithya Senthil Kumar was present.
