The Minister of Tourism, Culture and Cinematography and Nidadavol MLA Kandula Durgesh on Tuesday expressed shock and grief over the loss of lives in a road accident that occurred on 2 June in the East Godavari district.
Upon receiving the information, the Minister plunged into the government hospital in Rajamahendrama and offered condolences to surviving families. He assured them that the government would provide all possible support and also ordered medical staff and authorities to provide proper treatment of injured people who were admitted to the private hospital in the city.
Mr. Durgesh emphasized the need to prepare an action plan to prevent these incidents from repeating. He said that the state government will take the necessary decisions to ensure measures to prevent a traffic accident.
