Even as election campaigns dominate the public sphere, a calmer and more reflective moment has emerged from Kerala’s political landscape, with Higher Education and Social Justice Minister R. Bindu taking center stage in literary attention.
The cover of her poetry collection Anbum Alivum Alpam Anuragavum was unveiled online by noted writers and friends from the literary world through a Facebook event, offering a refreshing cultural interlude amid the political heat.
The collection gathers poems written by Bindu at various stages of her life, in both Malayalam and English. Ranging across a wide emotional spectrum—from love and longing to rejection, language, and mortality—the poems reflect an intimate connection with the many layers of life.
Published by Green Books, Thrissur, the anthology is further enriched with a message by eminent writer K. Satchidanandan and a foreword by renowned poet Ravunni.
