
Alexandra Eala, 19 from the Philippines, continued her excellent running in Miami Open 2025 after attacked the semifinals. On Wednesday, March 26, the participant of adolescents withdrew his biggest victory in his career after defeating the World No.2 and five-time Grand Slam IgA Swiatlek 6-2, 7-5 in the quarterfinals.
Previously, Eala won a better French Open 2017 champion, Deer Ostapenko, after which she relaxed before removing Swiatlek around the ruling winner of Australian Open Madison Keys. With her victory over Keys before, Eala became the first Philippine player to beat the 10 best players.

After winning a better Swiatle, Eala became the first player from her country to achieve the semifinal of the WTA 1000 event. The young man was after a month after defeating Swiatleka and in disbelief.
“I don’t know what to say, I think, right now, completely untrustworthy and I’m in the cloud of nine. It’s forever in my heart,” Eala said in an interview with the trial.

In the quarterfinal match, Swiato tried to hold in the first set while Eala played with confidence and hit the winner from each corner of the playground.
In the second set, Eala bounced back from the 4-2 deficit and remained folded when Swiato tried to serve from the set to 5-4. Eala closed the victory with her eighth break of the match.
