There were no awnings in the mini auction. Australian all-rounder Cam Green also introduced himself as a batsman for managerial matters. He confirmed that he will be available to bowl during the season. KKR then stepped in at Rs 2.8 crore. The KKR-RR bidding war then continued till Rs 13.60 crore when RR backed down.RR had a total purse of Rs 16.5 crore.He then joined Chennai Super Kings with an offer of Rs 13.80 crore. A bidding war then took place between KKR and CSK for the Aussie all-rounder, with neither team in the mood to back down. KKR had a total purse of Rs 64.30 crore while CSK had Rs 43.40 crore.The bidding war continued till Rs 25.20 crore when CSK backed down. The Australian all-rounder then went to KKR for Rs 25.20 crore and became perhaps the most expensive player in this year’s auction.
