The Ministry of the Interior (MHA) ordered officers of different departments to focus on online trading and freight services to check the smuggling of narcotic drugs, cannabis and other substances.
The Minister of the Interior of the Union Govind, Mohan, chaired a highlight meeting in a hybrid regime with the main secretaries (CSS), the Generals of the Police (DGPS), the heads of the Control Bureau (NCB), the Directors of Intelligence (DRI) and the police on Thursday.
The meeting discussed strategies to control drugs, coordination between different departments, identification of children addicted to drugs and Ganja, enlightenment of students and youth on the bad effects of drugs, said officers who attended the meeting.
The Minister of the Interior of the Union ordered officers Andhra Pradesh to focus on identifying national and international drug sellers and their modus operands, maintaining vigilia in online marketing and demand for various types of drugs.
Mr Govind Mohan asked the drug control (DCA) to keep the card on drugs on drugs NRX (which cannot be without a prescription).
Officers of the elite Anti-Narcotist for Pravo enforcement (Eagle) in the State were asked to take steps to identify vulnerable areas and children addicted to drugs.
