Deputy Minister and Minister of Development Bengalur DK Shivakumar stressed on Tuesday that the project of the Bengalur metro is a cooperating effort between the Union and the State Government government and asked the opposition not to make it the subject of “credit policy”.
His comments came after he carried out the metro inspection of the yellow line before his inauguration Prime Minister Narendra Modim, scheduled for August 10.
Shivakumar spoke with reporters after his inspection of the yellow line 19.15 km stressed that the project belongs to the people of the city, not to the political party or government itself.
“The metro project is not only an initiative of the Union Government. It is a joint partnership between the governments of the state and the trade unions. The emphasis is on serving people, not credit policy,” he said.
A small, simple function for inauguration
Shivakumar answered questions about who started the metro inauguration and explained: “The main minister and I asked the Prime Minister to start it. Now he did not give up time. This is not just a trade union project, both governments have a partnership of 50:50.
The yellow line, which connects RV Road to Bommasandra, was built at the price of CRORE 7 610 GBP and contains 16 stations. “That day will be held a small, simple function in the IMB auditorium. The Prime Minister, the main minister and the MLA will travel the metro during the event,” said Mr. Shivakumar. He added that the state will also submit a request for further funds needed to reside the land for the proposed double -pattern project.
The Minister’s representative said: “If MEPs who are now creating a hand will help to sanction some resources, it would be great for Bengalur, neither of them talk about financing. They only point to errors.” He said that the state plans to integrate double insertion overflows where metro lines are built, and that BBMP and BMRCL will work together to obtain and compensate the soil.
Slams Tejasvi Surya
He also switched to a Member for Bengaluru South Tejasvi Surya, who protested against the state government to open the yellow line first and said, “He is a young man in a hurry but lacking experience.
Mr. Shivakumar reported that three trains had already arrived on the yellow line, with the fourth expecting in August. “It takes about a week after the train arrival. Initially, three trains will take place at 25 -minute intervals. Once multiple trains arrive, the frequency will increase to 20 minutes and finally 10 minutes.”
Shivakumar said he said that the metro office was ordered to get three to four acres near each station. “They can build commercial spaces above and parking below,” he added.
