Closed districts include Berkley, Clawson, Bloomfield Hills, Farmington, Ferndale, Hazel Park, River Rouge, Madison Heights, Novi, Oak Park, Pontiac, Royal Oak, Southfield, Troy, Walled Lake, Waterford, Redford, West Bloomfield, Ecorse, Harper Woods, Romulus, L’Anse Mount Creuse, North Fralemens, Public Schools, North Wyandotte, Warren, South Lyon and others.
More districts are expected to announce school closures on Dec. 10, according to a Metro Detroit News report.

Weather agencies warned of threats of snow, sleet, rain and freezing rain for the Metro Detroit area from Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

Metro Detroit Winter Weather Warning
Metro Detroit, which has already been hit by snow once, is now under the threat of another snow spell.
Winter weather isn’t over for Metro Detroit, the southeast region of Michigan, with local news outlets reporting spells of snow will cover the area after 10pm Tuesday night.
Snow is expected to continue until 6 a.m. Wednesday, then change to rain.
The combination of snow and rain is expected to bring freezing temperatures and unusable roads, making vehicular movement and daily life in general difficult.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for communities north of I-69. The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for north metro Detroit beginning Tuesday at 10 p.m.
A winder weather advisory is expected to last until 4:00 PM Wednesday as snow is expected to move into eastern Michigan.
Gusty winds will also add to the weather woes facing people in the Detroit metro area.
Temperatures are expected to plummet below freezing after Wednesday and stay that way for the foreseeable future.
