On Sunday, train services were affected by AZ Mysur, which is due to a great derailment of the busy BTPN player (Bogie Tank) near Tirvallur in the Chennai division.
Vogs, carrying oil, lit after derailment. As a result, the southern railway had to cancel several trains.
This included train services no. 20607-Mgr Chennai Central-Massur Vande Bharat Express and Train No. 12007-Mgr Chennai Central-Massur Shatabdi Express.
In addition, train No. 22625 and train no. 12639 between Chennai Central and KSR Bengaluru were canceled. Train services no. 20608 and train No. 12008 between Mysuru and Chennai Central were also canceled.
