
Mission for removal of poverty in urban areas (MEPMA) provided nine Platinum Awards.
MEPMA was founded in 2007 and operated within the city and urban development (Ma & UD) and solves urban poverty through a multidimensional approach that integrates the generation of living, financial integration, development of skills, housing and strengthening the position of women according to the ministry.
Of the 14 innovative projects submitted by Mepma, nine were selected for recognition. Nine initiatives concern the well -being of self -help groups (SHG), city homeless, street sellers and unrecognized working groups.
“It is the moment of pride not only for separation, but for every individual who has been aggravated through these interventions. Our goal has always been to create a permanent, inclusive change,” said S. Suresh Kumar, Ma & UD Secretary, in a press statement.
He added that Mepma’s terrain workers were helpful in carrying out this policy. “Since the training of SHG members in digital instruments to facilitate access to the markets, their efforts have affected thousands of lives,” Suresh Kumar said.
MEPMA Director MEPMA N. TEJ Bharat said that these awards are acknowledging the tireless efforts of their teams and the determination of SHG.
The awards of the Sculptures are prestigious independent civil prices awarded by a group of Škoch. Platinum Awards will be formally handed over to the SCOCH Summit in the new Delhi 20 September.
