But the visitors wasted an early review when trying to dismiss Ellyse Perry, who returned to the side after recovering from a quad injury. On the third ball of the fifth, bowler Kranti Goud bowled a full length into the channel that went wide. Perry pushed the ball hesitantly and looked beaten on the outside edge.
The slip cordon looked preoccupied, prompting skipper Harmanpreet Kaur to have a brief chat with her teammates before opting for a check.
