
Sonam Raghuvanki and Raj Kushwaha, accused of the case of the murder of Meghalay, who was conspired for killing Sonam’s husband Raja Raghuvansehi, confessed to being in a relationship, police said Meghalaya on Tuesday, June 24th.
Sonam and Raj also confessed to killing Raja, while a new married couple was for honeymoon in Meghalaya, the police said.
Police Superintendent (East Khasi Hills) Vivek Syiem said that both Sonam Raghuvansehi and Raj Kushwaha also re -created the crime scene at the crime point for the police.
“They (Sonam and Raj) have already admitted crime. We have reconstructed. We showed us. On the spot … I see no reason why we should perform at this stage (Narco Analysis test),” Vivek said.
Vivek Syiem, who rejected the requirements of the Raja family for the NARCO test for Sonam Raghuvanki, said: “Narco test is usually done if there is no evidence, and Narco analysis is actually banned by the Supreme Court.”
On Saturday, June 21, in Meghalayin Shillong, Meghalay’s Shilllong sent Sonam Raghuvanki and Raj Kushwaha for 13 days of judicial links in connection with the murder of Meghalaya.
So far, 8 accused have been arrested in connection with the murder of Raja Raghuvanki, the newlyweds who came to the state for honeymoon.
The arrests include his wife, Sonam Raghuvanki and four others: Akash Rajput, Vishal Singh Chauhan, Raj Singh Kushwaha and Anand.
On Monday 23rd June, the Loket Singh Tomar, the eighth accused in connection with the case of the murder of the honeymoon, was taken into custody. He is accused of liquidating a gun and a bag full of money in the case of murder, as well as by destruction of evidence, police said Meghalaya.
