The state government has ordered a large Parent Teacher Meeting (PTM) in all state primary, secondary and pre-university schools on November 14 to mark Children’s Day.
This was announced by School Education and Literacy Minister Madhu Bangarappa during Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations recently and an official circular was issued on Wednesday asking school authorities to prepare for PTM.
If the number of students is less than 50, then all parents should be invited, if there are more than 50, priority should be given to upper classes keeping in view the availability of space in schools for holding meetings, the circular said.
