Labor Minister V. Sivankutty has convened a meeting of central union representatives to discuss matters relating to the four new labor codes recently announced by the Union government.
The meeting will be held online on Thursday 24 November 2025 at 12 noon.
The labor code will be discussed with the labor ministers of other states, according to a statement here on Monday (November 24).
Mr. Sivankutty said the government was considering holding a labor conclave in the state capital in the third week of December.
Kerala on Monday once again aired its areas of disagreement over the labor code at a meeting of state labor officials convened by the union labor secretary.
State Labor Special Secretary Shanavas S. informed the meeting that these documents will be submitted to the Union Government in writing.
