“Indigo Flight 6E2142 acting from Delhi to Srinagar came across a sudden hail Enroute. Flight and on -board conductors followed the established protocol and the aircraft safely landed in Srinagar,” the airline said.

“Partially overcast sky, light to medium rain/storm/lightning/dust storms and impact winds (speed 40-60 km/h) temporarily reach 70 km/h during the storm,” IMD said in its prediction and issued an orange warning for today.
For the 22nd and 23rd May, the weather was released by a yellow warning.
The maximum temperature is expected to settle at 39 degrees Celsius, IMD said.
Air quality was recorded in the wrong category because the air quality index (AQI) at 9 am was in 201.
