Yogoda Satsanga Society of India (YSS) Vice President Swami Smarananananda said that mediation, especially “Kriya Yoga”, provides a practical path to self-realization and lasting inner peace.

He delivered a spiritual talk on ‘Meditation: An Antidote to Stress, Worry and Anxiety’ at a program organized by Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) in association with Union Bank of India and Yogoda Satsanga Dhyana Kendra here on Tuesday.

“This timeless yoga practice offers effective solutions to modern problems like stress, anxiety and mental restlessness,” said Swami Smaranananda, who is listed among the top 100 IITians dedicated to serving the nation.

Swami Smaranananda emphasized the mission of the Yogoda Satsanga Society of India and described its role in preserving and spreading the sacred meditation techniques taught by Paramahansa Yogananda, including the Hong-Sau technique, the AUM (Om) technique, and Kriya yoga.

He also gave a live demonstration of a yoga energy exercise, explaining how these scientifically designed exercises help recharge the body with vital energy, improve physical fitness and prepare the mind for deeper meditation.
