
AIG, Hyderabad, hosted the forum of private practices in neurosurgery, which took place under the auspices of the Indian Neurological Society (NSI) 18 and 19 July. The two -day action combined more than 300 neurosurgeons from all over the country and carved space to deal with often overlooked challenges and dilemmation in the field.
Forum focused on its discussions on the topic “Holistic approach to patient care and sustainability of practicing”. From the medical-legal complexity to the emotional and financial toll leadership of private practice, the forum has been dealt with by problems that shape the experience of the real world of modern neurosurgeons.
More than 100 speakers participated in a wide range of topics, including the risk of litigation, clinical autonomy, digital brands, ethical dilemmas, burnout, leadership and business.
“Medical practice today requires much more than clinical perfection. Initiatives such as NSI private practitioners are creating a much needed platform where clinic doctors can openly discuss the complex reality of private practice, from legal risks to maintaining ethical care models.
