District Chemists and Association for Drugs (BDCDA), who claimed that drugs are increasingly directed to Karnataka from external markets through unauthorized distribution channels.
Grave risks
In a letter to all pharmacy manufacturers, President BDCDA B. Thirunavukkaras said that these unauthorized movements often circumvented carrying and forward (CFA) and traders.
“These are serious risks, including the entry of disturbing drugs, tax evasion, regulatory non -compliance, manipulation of MRP and dilution of the gray market from undermining ethical chemical operations,” he said in a letter.
Mr. Thirunavukkaras said that a particular alarming trend is the rise of semi-renewers, subto-STOCKists and third-party agents who work without official permission, offers deep discounts and unethical business incentives for retailers, especially alarming trend.
“Dushing products across states or obtaining from non -following sources by circumventing the approved network of the Stockist company creates price wars that destabilize the integrity of the market. Such practices directly threaten public health, threaten the company’s reputation and create legal obligations for all participants,” he said.
He explained that many of these semi-process, subto-STOCKists and agents for obtaining third-party are becoming helpful in routing pharmaceutical products for fast trade and electronic trading platforms, often bypassing framework and authorized distribution channels. “These online platforms can unknowingly diverted or unauthorized drugs due to lack of traceability in obtaining resources. This undermines the role of licensed pharmacies, destabilizes price discipline and significantly increases the risk of dangerous or false drugs achieved by the public,” he said.
Medical representatives
In the letter Mr. Thirunavukkaras, he claimed that there were increasing suspicion that some medical representatives and managers could be indirectly encouraging unauthorized interconnection of supplies in an effort to achieve monthly sales goals and qualify for incentives or promotional bonuses.
“Such field -level actions, although insulated, erode the integrity of the supplier chain and must be urgently solved through internal audits and liability mechanisms. We invite all pharmacy manufacturers to audit and clean your distribution network, verify all sales points and compliance in Karnataka. All points of sales and compliance with the Karnataka route. In addition to digital monitoring systems with the route verification, they should be carried out, ”says letters,” says the Karnatake routes and compliance in all points of sale.
The letter also urges all manufacturers to ensure that no unauthorized third -party agents acquire or redistribute products. This can be done by interrupting consumables or incentives to any merchant who has found to allow semi -process, subtocker and third parties who acquire agents or gray market channels.
“In addition, all medical representatives and business managers should be led to report unauthorized market movement. Field force should be sensitized to the risk of short -term profits for long -term brand damage. Pharmaceutists are not mere commodities.
