
The medical contribution for the former MLA and the former MLC increased by £ 25,000. The Tamil Government has increased a medical contribution to which they are entitled to each financial year from 75,000 to 1 lakh.
Revision of a medical contribution would be applicable from 1 April last year. The state government has changed the rules of lawmakers Tamil Nadu (medical participation and treatment for former members) of 1982 in this respect.
