MBBS counselling: First phase of KNRUHS web-based options from today
The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) on Friday announced the first phase of online counseling for MBBS admissions under the Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2026-27.
As per the notification, the eligible candidates can exercise their web options from 29th August 6 am to 1st September 12 noon through the official counseling portal.
Counseling will be for MBBS seats under competent authority quota in government and private minority and non-minority unaided medical colleges affiliated to KNRUHS. The process will also include candidates under EWS, Persons with Disabilities (PwD), PMC, CAP and SCCL categories.
Candidates whose certificates have been uploaded during online registration, pre-verified by the concerned departments and whose names appear in the UG Medical Admissions final merit list published on the KNRUHS website on August 28 are eligible to avail the web option.
KNRUHS has warned the candidates that those who do not avail the web option during the first phase will not be able to avail the option in the subsequent counseling phases. Similarly, candidates who have been allotted a seat of their choice but have not joined the allotted college will not be eligible to participate in the subsequent rounds.
KNRUHS also said that the final verification of the original certificates will be done at the allotted medical college. Any discrepancy found during verification could lead to cancellation of provisional allotment and further action as per University regulations.
