Kerala Lok Ayukta criticized Keral University on Friday for incorrect treatment of answers from the answers, which led to his decision to make a special review for 71 MBA students. He noted that he would force students to take re -examinations for the university’s delay, is the rejection of natural justice.
The divisional bench composed of Lok Ayukta N. Anil Kumar and UPA Lok Ayukta Shirca V., who considered Anjan Pradeep, a former student, also ordered her average stamps for the “Finance project” of the third semester based on her academic record and results in other rehearsals.
Recently, the petitioner has not appeared for re -examination for implementation for the financing of the third semester project, which was attended by 65 students and handed over the contribution. While the university carried out a special exam for her, Lok Ayukta refused the proposal and stated that it was impractical and unnecessary.
Lok Ayukta stressed that it was the responsibility of the university to save the scripts of answers and shortcomings should not lead to disproportionate problems for students. “The rewriting of the exam under such circumstances will adversely affect the academic confidence and mental health of the student. The burden of revision and preparation of the same sylla after a long gap is obviously disproportionate,” the command said.
University sources said that the next steps would be taken after looking for legal advice. The university had previously rejected students’ demand for average grades and quoted concerns that this could affect the future prospects of students and the integrity of the university.
