
The International Criket Council (ICC) announced on Monday 9 June seven new inductors in the Hall of Fame ICC. Former Australia opener Matthew Hayden, legendary South African captain Graeme Smith, former Hashim Amla dough and former New Zealand Spinner Daniel Vetori was among the seven new names included in the elite list.
Hayden was an integral part of the Australian group that dominated the international cricket in the first decade of the 21st century. The opening dough won the World Cup 2003 and 2007 and was the leading shooter of the 2007 issue with 659 runs out of ten shifts.
In addition, Graeme Smith is the most successful captain in the history of the test cricket, which led South Africa to 53 test victories. He was helpful in leading his team to dominate in the red ball not only at home, but also in overseas conditions.
On the other hand, Hashim Amla is one of the greatest doughs of the modern era for its huge exploitation in tests and ODI. A 42 -year -old man is the second highest shooter for Proteas in the longest format with 9282 runs on average 46.64 with 28 hundred. In ODI, 8113 ran from 181 matches on average 49.46 with 27 centuries.
Was also the fastest 3,000, 4,000, 6000 and 7000 milestone runs in format. The legendary India Captain MS Dhoni was also listed in the list of elite lists for his invaluable contributions to the Indian cricket.
New Zealand Spinner Daniel Vettori was another inductor in the list for his amazing versatile contributions during his career. Vettori is a New Zealand leader in ODI with 297 goals out of 273 shifts on average 31.96. He also sits third in the list of leading goalies in tests from his nation with 361 scalp from 112 matches.
Meanwhile, the English Sarah Taylor and Pakistani Sana Mir entered the elite club. Taylor is the second most successful goalkeeper in a women’s cricket with 136 release from 116 shifts. He is also a triple winner of the World Championship and played a key role in the 2017 World Cup triumph in 2017.
Pakistani Sana Mir became the first woman from her country to enter the list. Off-Spinner is the highest goal for its nation in ODI with 151 scalp out of 120 matches and is the second highest in T20is with 89 scalp.
