
J&K: In a large announcement of the devotees, the pilgrimage of Mata Vaishno Devi will be restored in the reasi district on Wednesday 17 September, according to the Council of the Sanctuary. However, restoration will depend on favorable weather conditions.

Previously, a group of pilgrims organized a protest in the Katra base camp and demanded a pilgrimage that was suspended on August 26, just hours before the tragedy hit.
