According to state media reports, Bandar Abbas, a port city in Iran, was hit by a huge explosion and fire, resulting in several injuries.
According to Reuters report, at least 281 people were injured in the incident and are transported to hospitals.
It was not immediately clear whether the victims had occurred from the explosion, the Associated Press reported the media quoting. It seems that the port of Asshahi Rajaei became in the city.
“After the explosion, four rapid reactions were sent to the scene,” said State TV, said Hormozgan Red Crescent, Mokhtar Salahshour, AFP said.

The videos showed a huge cloud of black smoke rising from the explosion site.
There are no official confirmation of the cause of a massive explosion.
“The cause of this incident was the explosion of several containers deposited in the Shahid Rajaee Port Wharf port. We are currently evacuating and transferring injured to medical centers,” said the local crisis, according to Reuters.
State Television said “when handling flammable materials was a contributing factor” in an explosion.

Social media users said the explosion was so strong that it caused damage to nearby buildings.
According to Reuters, Reuters National Iranian oil refinement and distribution company said in a statement that Bandar Abbas explosion did not affect energy equipment. He stated that “operations in Bandar Abbas devices continue without interruption”.
The explosion broke the windows within a circle of several kilometers, the Iranian media said.
Fars News said the explosion was heard in Qeshm, an island of 26 kilometers south of Bandar Abbas.
In 2020, computers in the same port were hit by a cyber attack that caused massive backups on waterways and roads leading to the device. Washington post announced that Iranian arch Israel seemed to be behind this incident as a retaliation for the former Iranian cyber attack.
