It also launched a feedback system based on QR code for police stations and introduced extensive educational programs for station officers (SHOS) to strengthen direct involvement with people.
Under his leadership, the law and order across the telangana remained robust, with the main festivals such as Ganesh Chaturthi, Durga Puja and Eid Milad-Un-Nabi, who passed without the incident.
Measures to reduce the Maoist influence (with several highest levels that surrendered and adopted rehabilitation support), organized crime solves and control cyber criminality was a characteristic feature of its administration, along with the effort to refund the funds in financial fraud and promote awareness to prevent future crimes.
Mr. Jitender also favored education and social care, established a young India police school to provide quality education to police families, and gain 30% contribution to strengthen the morale of police staff in specialized units such as an elite action group for drug recovery (Eagle).
On the national scene, the TELANGANA Police under his leadership ranked first in a justice report in India 2025. The state contingent also excelled at the All India police meeting, won 17 medals and overcome the overall medal, introduced discipline, skills and competitive perfection.
His tenure also included supervision of reactions to disasters during floods and heavy rains, road management and the opening of the police in tourism with staff deployed at nine key points.
The day was closed in the DGP office when IPS officers felilitated the outgoing DGP Jitender and his successor B. Shivadhar Reddy, who on Wednesday assumes charges as the new DGP Telangana.
