Senior CEO of Evercore ISI, Mark Mahaney, discussed whether the Chinese application Deepseek AI poses a challenge to major tech stocks on "Varney & Co." Meanwhile, Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta Platforms, made headlines for his appearance at his wife Priscilla Chan’s 40th birthday party.
Zuckerberg shared a video on Instagram of him on stage at the celebration, initially wearing a tuxedo before tearing it off to reveal a light blue, sparkling jumpsuit. In the video, Zuckerberg can be seen jumping on the piano with a microphone in hand, moving around the stage, and seemingly singing, much to the amusement of his wife.
In the caption of his Instagram post, Zuckerberg wrote, “Your wife only turns 40 once! Shoutout to @BensonBoone for the jumpsuit and a new single.” Earlier at the Grammys, Benson Boone, who was nominated for Best New Artist, had performed "Beautiful Things" wearing a similar blue jumpsuit. Boone responded to Zuckerberg’s post on Instagram Stories, saying, “You are for this.”
Zuckerberg and Chan, who have been married for over 12 years, celebrated the milestone birthday over the weekend. Chan shared on social media that she turned 40 “surrounded by family, friends, laughter, and dancing,” adding, “I’m lucky to be so loved.”
Zuckerberg’s playful antics at the party came amidst his ongoing commitments at Meta, where the company is investing up to $65 billion in AI by 2025. The Meta CEO has been in the spotlight recently, not only for his technological ventures but also for acquiring a brand new $287 million superyacht.
