Maron, now 62, was reflected in the first days with his producer Brendan McDonald. He said, “All we knew was that we would do it every Monday and Thursday. There was no way to make money … At the beginning we did it in the garage, which was just a garage filled.”

“Fortunately, we both realized that we did. It’s okay to end … It was a show that started when there were no podcasts. And now there’s nothing but podcasts,” Maron said.
