The India Post will make a Maraton in Mysur to mark the National Postal Week in October.
K. Prakash, General of the Chief Postmaster, Karnataka Circle, said on Thursday that the marathon will be held on October 26 and will be a mixture of “Dak Runners” with the current Fitness trend.
Marathon is a cooperating effort between or Sports and Entertainment Ltd. and the headquarters for strengthening position and sport in Karnataka. The aim of the event is to demonstrate products and services offered by India Post Millennials and Gen Z, added Mr. Prakash.
The post offices said they would expect to participate in the marathon about 6,000 to 10,000 people, except for postal staff. They also delivered a proposal for the management of the marathon every year.
Participants may decide to participate in one of Catergories, see, marathon, half marathon, 10k and 5K. The racing route passes through the picturesque and demanding terrain of hills Chamundi and offers runners a rare mixture of natural beauty and a test of their physical endurance.
By the way, the postcard of India Post Mysuru Marathon was released in Bengaluru 8 August 2025, except for the official marathon logo.
