Marathy Manoj’s activist Jarange Patil said on Wednesday (April 30, 2025) that he would start an indeterminate hungry blow in Mumbai, Mumbai on August 29, and claims that the Maharashtra government has failed to appreciate its obligations in the Maratha community.
Jarange Patil, who addressed the media from Antarwali Sarathi in the Jalny district, released Clarion Call- “Chalo Mumbai”-Naléhal on the members of the marathy community to mobilize themselves to support their long-term requirements. The announcement coincides with the end of the three -month term, which he claims to have given the government to act according to the promises made during the earlier agitation.

In direct warning, the Chairman’s Minister EKNATH Fadnavis said the activist that any damage caused by the protesters would cause a nationwide reaction. “If one person is injured during this movement, I will ensure that no MLA or MP in the Mahari will not be able to get off freely,” said Mr. Jarange Patil.
The activist previously ended a similar hungry strike on January 30 and quoted the assurance of the State Government to carry out the recommendations of the Committee headed by the Sandeep Shinde judge. However, he claimed that no tangible progress had been made since then.
“The Maratha community has been patiently waiting for two years. Although it agreed to our requirements, the government did not do us. He deceived us,” he said, demanding that the state to go through the resoluting Marathas with Kunbis, allowing them to be included in the category of other classes (OVC) to reserve central institutions.
Mr. Jarange Patil, who was quoted by the reported committee of the Shinde Committee of 58 Laky of Historical Records connecting Marathas with the Kunbi Agrarárrara class and questioned the unwillingness of the state to change the City Act in 2012.
He reiterated his call to recognize “Sage Soyre” – all related blood of the Maratha community – like Kunbis. He also urged the government to issue a caste certificate to those whose ancestors appear in official gazettes such as Hyderabad, Satar Sanstha and Bombay.
The activist who called for administrative responsibilities demanded suspension of officials who deny the issuance of valid certificates, the spread of archive records of Panchayats, and withdrawing legal cases filed against the protesters.
“If the government is not listening now, we will go to the bombai. But I want everyone to drop me there and return to their work. A detailed plan will be announced 1 August,” he said, noting that the protest would be carried out at Jalny and Bombai.
