
During the 79th anniversary of India’s independence, Marath Light Infantry Regimental Center (Maratha Lircc) performed a number of patriotic events under the capable leadership of brigadier Joydeep Mukherjee, commander of Marath Lirc. These celebrations reflected the constant devotion of the regiment to the ideals of the nation and permanent camaraderie among its ranks.
The festivities began on 13 August, with the Tiranga cycle, supported physical fitness, environmental awareness and national pride. The participants pedaled through the designated routes, proudly carried tricolor and inspired viewers with their enthusiasm.
On August 14th, Tiranga’s run joined officers, JCOS and other rows in the lively expression of discipline, teamwork and vitality, symbolizing physical readiness and unity of purpose.
The celebrations culminated in August 15 with Tiranga Yatra, a pulsating assembly that showed the regiment of pride and collective determination.
