Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) Executive Director H. Prasanna said the CET Seat Allotment Manthana, which began on Monday in 64 colleges in the state to provide information about the counseling process, has received an encouraging response. He said in a press release that more than 10,000 students along with their parents attended the workshops on the first day.
Seminars were held in state engineering, medical and dental faculties across the state. Trained workers and employees appointed by KEA were present at the locations to guide the aspiring candidates and create awareness. They also answered students’ questions.
Candidates were instructed to book their slots through the KEA website and then visit the school nearest to them. Around 13,000 people registered on the first day of the workshop, Mr. Prasanna added. With the exception of May 28, workshops will continue every day until May 30 with two sessions each day. Candidates can attend along with their parents to know more about the counseling process, he said.
