The legendary Padma Shri award, whose heritage exceeds his film achievements, has received a great homage. “Bharat Kumar” from the Indian film, known for his patriotic role, was shrouded in the national flag Tricolor.
The last ceremony took place in his residence in Mumbai. Members of the family and close friends gathered in their residence to say goodbye to the famous Indian film icon.

Manoj Kumar is a famous character in the Indian film industry, whose timeless classic focused on patriotism, integrity and national unity, deeply resonated with the audience across generations. His works continue to be inspired by filmmakers, actors and Cinefily today.
Manoj Kumar described his directorial debut “UPKARE”, which was awarded the National Film Award as the second best feature film. Several of his other films have been critically recognized and appeared as commercially successful stories such as “Roti Capa Aur Makaan” (1974), Purab Aur Paschim (1970) and Shaheed (1965).
