
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday that the central government is working on Chhath Mahaparvi – the Hindu festival to honor the sun god – recognized by the educational, scientific and cultural organization of the UN (UNESCO). Modi also appreciated Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) before a 100 -year -old milestone of the organization. “A few days after now we will celebrate Vijayadashami. In the 126th issue of his monthly radio program Mann Ki Baat Modi, he emphasized local business, cultural heritage and community service throughout India. Modi paid tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh at his 118th anniversary. “Amar Shaheed Bhagat Singh is an inspiration for every Indian, especially for young people. In his nature, the fearlessness was deeply rooted,” he said. He added that before he was hanged, Bhagat Singh asked the British for the treatment of a prisoner and proved his sensitivity to others.
Congress chief Kharge pays tribute
Previously, the head of Congress Mallikarjun Kharge also paid tribute to the martyr and noted that his consistent opposition to hatred and distributing ideologies and his concern for inequality. In a post on X, Kharge wrote: “Love for Earth will not disappear from the heart or after death. The aroma of the earth also comes from my land. ~ Martyr Bhagat Singh.”
He added: “The respectable tribute to the great fighter of freedom, Shaheed-E-Azam Bhagat Singh Ji, who sacrificed everything for the Earth’s independence. His patriotism, focused on equality and unity, will remain a source of inspiration for everyone.”
