BJP leader Manikanth Rathod on Thursday demanded an unconditional public apology from minister Priyank Kharge for speaking against the RSS and demanding a ban on the organisation.
“If Mr. Kharge continues to speak against the RSS, the Sangh volunteers will storm Mr. Kharge’s residence,” Mr. Rathod warned during a press conference in Kalaburagi on Thursday.
Referring to the threats to Mr. Kharge, in which the minister asked the caller whether RSS teaches the foul language he used, Mr. Rathod questioned the language used by Mr. Kharge for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.
Mr. Rathod also criticized BJP state president BY Vijayendra for remaining silent on the issue.
Mr. Rathod said that the state BJP leaders did not fully utilize this opportunity and intensified their protest against the Congress leaders for speaking against the RSS.
Mr. Rathod, who has been at large for more than a year, clarified that 38 cases were registered against him, he got bail in some cases and some cases were quashed.
