Manchester United Manager Ruben Amorim said that the victory of the European league will not save his terrible campaign. United will face Tottenham Hotspur in the European League final Wednesday 21st May in Bilbau when trying to finish the campaign high with a victory for fans.
Red Devils, however, will be in the Premier League 16 or 17th, their worst goal in the competition. Amorim said he said with reporters before the finals, as Reuters quoted, said players, employees and fans know that the victory of the European league is not enough to improve their bad campaign.
The Portuguese tactic said that United can still survive without the Champions League and will have to focus on the project next season and do things in the right way.
“Maybe people will look at our team in a different way because victory in the European title is really important. It would help us complete the season in a good note. But nothing changes our season.
“Getting a European title can help us have the feeling that can help us build for the future, but that’s it. I don’t think we play more than win the title.”
“Manchester United can financially survive without playing the Champions League. We have many fans around the world, we are a big international brand. We have to focus on the project and do things in the right way.”
“We already know problems in the club”
Amorim said that the club’s problems are known and many things will have to change in United, which will not be solved by the victory of the European League.
“I think it is difficult to talk about everything we have to change at the moment, because we have to be enthusiastic and confidence for the finals, but we already know that we have the problems we have,” Amorim said.
“In our club we have to change a lot of things we have to change. It’s hard to point out one thing. It won’t be resolved by winning a cup. I’ll say it again, for me we have bigger things we have to go back to the top.”

The United season will end with the collision of the Premier League with Aston Villa at home 25.
