Manchester United CEO Omar Berrad firmly stood on his ambitious goal for the club – by 2028 he won both male and female premier League titles, and coincided with the 150th anniversary of the club. After being probably their worst season in the decade, Berrada remains optimistic. United finished 16th.
Despite the dramatic slump, Berrada adheres to his plan “Project 150”, which he first introduced in September 2024.
“It sets up a number of time goals in order to focus our efforts and energy on this goal. Can the team win the Premier League title by 2028? Of course we have just ended and it seems impossible. But why not think? 47 -year -old said.
“We have two or three summer windows to build a team that would start to win the Premier League … No one says we don’t want to win it before. We are building a goal with a specific time frame we will focus on,” Berrada added.
While the male team was cloudy with internal tension – especially Alejandro Garnacho reported a sleep with the manager Ruben Amori and the exit Marcus Rashford and the Sancho Jadon on the loan – Berrada acknowledged Unrest, but promised that the reconstruction of efforts was in motion.
“We were a little scattered with all the problems around the first team of men, but we are determined to make the female team very successful,” Berrada said.
While United started with its shop in this summer window, Berrada believes that the club will find a way to heal.
