Stuart Broad supported Rishabh Pant on the bat despite a bruised leg in the fourth test between India and England in Old Trafford, Manchester. On day 1, India faced a great failure when the hinge was forced out of the field after receiving a painful wound to the right leg.
The injury was late at the final meeting when Chris Woakes bowed to a sharp Yorker, who beat the panty attempt to sweep without appearance and hit him just below the tip.
The hinge was visibly in the pain immediately after the impact. Physios threw himself and after a short assessment in the field, Was taken through an ambulance for further treatment. Broad said he enjoyed commenting on his fold pants, hoping his rapid recovery after medical care.
“I can’t remember that there are too many crickets to England and I have a reception he had every time he came out.

“It was amazing to express and watch great. Less amazing to put on to be honest because you go length and don’t know if it gets into the front defense or is going to charge you from the country.
“We hope to recover quickly. But when he looks at it, his leg has grown rapidly. But medical staff will be icing that he will get rid of the swelling every night. Hopefully there will be no major damage and can go back on a bruised foot,” Broad added.
After the end of the day, BCCI issued a statement where she said that the hinge was under the observation of the Indian Council medical staff. Pant scored 37 escapes from 48 balls with two four and six before retiring wounded. India completed the day 1 on 264 for four with Yashsvi Jaiswal and Sai Sudhasan scoring the 1950s.
