Police arrested 32 -year -old Ajit, manager of a microfinance company in T. Narsipur, for alleged harassment of family members of the complainant.
The complainant Naveen, resident of Jalahalli in T. Narsipur, said that the accused not only abused his mother, who took a loan, and forcibly involved her smaller daughter and neighboring smaller boys in their efforts to recover the loan when the family visited a relative in the village of Obravali in Malavalli Taluk from Mandy district.
The police station Belakavadi was filed with a company that took the case under Karnataka Micro Loan and a small loan (prevention of coercive events) of Regulation 2025 and other parts of BNS.
Police watched the accused near Balish Banari now a temple in Tamil Nadu. Ajit was arrested a native of Sikkalpura in the Chamarajanagar District Collegal Taluk.
Police confiscated the motorcycle used by the accused on the day of the incident.
